It is the responsibility of the buyer to return and collect goods to / from Akwil AV Ltd's premises.
The goods cannot be returned unless an RMA number has been requested and obtained from Akwil AV Ltd and the package clearly marked on the outside with this identification.
Goods that are returned to Akwil AV Ltd should be received back to us in the same condition as they were received. It is the customer's responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in their possession.
Any product/system/software built to the customer's individual specifications, or are Manufactured to Order, are exempt from the right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations and are non-refundable.
If the buyer properly rejects any of the goods in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations within 7 working days in writing, the buyer shall nonetheless be responsible for the return cost of the goods and a possible restocking fee,.
Non-faulty items returned to our premises within 7 working days of purchase may obtain a refund, except for delivery costs. Goods must be re-sellable to qualify for a refund. All software must be unused and sealed. Outside of 7 working days, non faulty items will be evaluated for a refund or an offer of exchange on a case by case basis. Refunds will not be considered if the goods are damaged and in a manner different to that of what was received at delivery and seals broken that invalidate any warranty. For non faulty items, the customer is required to pay the return delivery cost to Akwil AV Ltd. Faulty items will be picked up by Akwil AV Ltd courier service at no charge to the customer.
Akwil AV Ltd gives no assurance as to the mutual compatibility of components sold on any single invoice. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the goods purchased are suitable for the purpose intended. Advice sought by the customer from Akwil AV Ltd in this respect may be given but cannot be relied upon by the customer or guaranteed by Akwil AV Ltd unless Akwil AV Ltd has access to the working system for which is intended and the ability to carry out a full inspection of any software, operating system or any other imposing factors.
Credit notes must be used within three months of the date they are issued. Any credit notes over three months old are invalid.
We will not accept returned software and/or licences under any circumstances.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days, unless notified in writing via email.
